Distance Learning With Your Existing Hardware
Online and distance learning has become the answer to schools and organizations who cannot meet in person. Without engaging with learners face to face it can be hard to determine the effectiveness of your teaching. In this course users will build a solid foundation for distance learning and online learning.

Our schools and districts have invested a lot in the hardware that you have in your classrooms from ActivPanels to document cameras. With all that has been buzzing around distance learning, we wanted to take some time to remind you how those amazing tools can also support you during distance learning should you be faced with that scenario in this school year.
This course will include various topics so it is important to note that all may not apply to the hardware in your classroom. For example, if you have an ActivBoard and projector you don’t have to watch the videos about ActivPanels, and so on. This is designed for you to take what you need!
We will start by discussing how your front of classroom portal like the ActivPanel or ActivBoard can help you during distance learning. Then we will do a dive into Promethean’s ActivInspire software. Finally, we will wrap with how your document cameras are more than just a tool for face to face learning.
Because you’ll need some familiarity with your front of classroom portal, this is a beginner + course. If you need any refreshers on your hardware, feel free to go back and watch the getting started or quick start courses for your front of classroom portal.
Now, because we’re covering different kinds of hardware that may or may not apply to you, there is no assessment here, and the duration of this course will be different for everyone. So, again, just take what you need and leave the rest. So, are you ready? Let’s get to it!
